Seasons and Weather of Kalpa:

If anyone wishes to breath cold air anytime of the year, he may visit Kalpa where summer does not exist. It is truly cold but not moist and does not let you feel uncomfortable if dressed properly. Environment is clear and pollution-free with ample ultra-violet radiation.

Month wise climatic variation:

March - 1st week of April: Snowfall but safe and receding coldness.
April: Moderately cold bright sunshine and flowering starts.
May: Bright sky, pollination of flowers. Valley starts to become green.
June: Summer starts but temperature remains between 9° C to 13 ° C.
July & August: Romantic sky - indigo blue in colour or sometimes clouded. Trees are full of small apples. Green, white and blue dominates any photo frame.
Sept: Some fruits except Apples starts ripening.
Oct: Apple season. Snow on higher ridges.
Nov.: Severe cold. Trees become leafless.
Dec.: Extreme cold and tranquility prevails.
Jan - Feb: Usually snow covered. The hotel remains closed to the tourists in general.
